The Great Climate Change Debate: Can Geo-Engineering save the planet?

Speaker

Professors Peter Liss from the University of East Anglia, John Shepherd FRS of the Tyndall Centre at Southampton University, David Cope, Director of Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology and Drs Alan Gadian of the University of Leeds, Olivier Boucher from the Met Office, Hadley Centre, David Santillo from the Greenpeace Research Laboratories at the University of Exeter and Miriam Kennet, CEO of the Green Economics Institute.

Description

Organised by five professional institutions (BCS, IET, ImechE, IchemE and ICE), this event will bring together a leading panel of climate change experts will discuss how engineering and technology can assist with efforts, and will our efforts be worth it!

The Berkshire YPG Group usually meets every third Thursday of the month for food, drinks, networking and discussions about IT technology and business. Come and join like-minded young IT professionals to share ideas and discuss the latest IT trends.
